Teaching, Training & Mentorship

As a part of my academic career I have provided mentorship to variety of PhD students, researchers as well as writers. I designed workshops such as ‘Not an Imposter’ workshop as well as co-led faculty feminist writing groups for women academics between 2021-2022. I advocate for women academics in my role as a Vice Chair of Lancaster Women Network (2021-2023) across different areas and was nominated twice for Inspirational Woman Award at Lancaster (2023,2024).

I act as a informal and formal (e.g. CARA programme) mentor and actively engage in provision of mini-coaching opportunities for those navigating academic space under challenging circumstances. Since 2022, I have directed more focus towards supporting academics and research in exile, and am open for one to one support to anyone who may need it at this time. I also coach and have a track record of coaching students and early career researchers, please do get in touch if this is something I can offer to you.

More formally I also teach on the following courses:

2021/22- Present (Lancaster University)

I am currently teaching a module on Health Informatics pathway of MSc Health Data Science program (Lent term) : CHIC670 Handling Routinely Collected Data and provide teaching to medical students via Problem Based Learning (PBL)
